This one carries your December straight into a January plan with an end date on it. You budget Christmas per person and track what you actually spent. Then the workbook splits December honestly into money you already had and money you borrowed — and everything you borrowed flows automatically into a live January payoff plan. Type in what you can genuinely afford each month and it shows how many months it takes to clear, the month you’ll be clear (a real date), and exactly what the interest costs on top. It then takes that payment out of your real January income and bills, so you can see whether the plan is one you can actually live with. Drop the monthly amount and watch the clear-by date move — that trade-off, in pounds and months, is the whole product.
It handles instalment plans properly (contracted payments first, everything left attacks the interest-charging balance), and it refuses to invent a payoff date if what you can afford doesn’t cover the interest — it says so in plain English and points you to free impartial UK debt help.
